Frequently Asked Questions

We do! Homeowners, Landlords and  Contractors are welcome to call. We’re a family-owned business that thrives on helping the community and surrounding areas to keep properties safe and secure.

We do! Whether you have inspiration or want to allow us complete creative liberty, custom gates is what we’re all about.

We provide service to all electric gates. Any brand, any model, any companies previous work we provide service for. We have one time service calls and provide annual service contracts to all customers. The service contracts are tiered for everyone’s budget and amount of the time they want to spend dealing with their gate operations.

All gates have the same few requirements to work.

  1. They need power. Check the breaker that supplies power to your gate and reset it.
  2. Clear any obstructions away from the photo eyes that monitor the gate opening. Snow is the number one cause in the winter for gates not opening.
  3. Replace the batteries in the remote controls. Cold weather and time degrade battery life and it may be as simple as the gate isn’t receiving a signal to open.
  4. If these basic steps don’t work, then you can call us at (406) 752-0892 and we will be happy to walk you through model specific steps or come out ot your location and provide service to your operator.

There are many factors that contribute to what gate works best. Site location and obstructions are a major factor in gate type. Depending on the gate style it may require more space than is available to install a gate.

Maintenance is a large factor. How much time you want to spend shoveling snow so the gate functions properly may sway your decision on a gate type.

Power source. The availability of AC power or the need to use solar as a power source can be the difference between which type of gate will work best for you.

We are available to answer any questions you may have about what gate works best for you. By scheduling an appointment and having us come out to the site we can use our years of experience to help determine what will work best for your situation.
